Empowering Wigan’s Future: Our Commitment to Local Youth

At DASCO Construction, community is at the heart of everything we do.

It’s not just about building structures; it’s about building a thriving, empowered community with solid foundations. Today, I’m thrilled to share a milestone in our ongoing commitment to the town that shaped us – Wigan.

Contributing to the Community

As a family-owned business with 80 local employees, we understand the impact we have on families in the area. We’re more than just a construction company; we’re a conscientious contributor to the community.

Over 90% of our operation costs are invested right here in Wigan, our hometown. For us, giving back is not a choice; it’s a fundamental belief in supporting local businesses and nurturing long-lasting relationships.

Supporting the Local Youth of Wigan

I am proud to announce our latest endeavour to support the local youth of Wigan – a partnership with Wigan Youth Zone as a Gold Patron. As well as a significant financial commitment; it’s a pledge to invest in the potential and future of young people in Wigan and Leigh. Over the next three years, DASCO Construction will contribute £12,000 annually, totalling £36,000, to empower and shape the lives of local youth.

A Shared Vision

Our values are deeply rooted in integrity and community support, aligning seamlessly with the mission of Wigan Youth Zone. This collaboration signifies our dedication to empowering the next generation and contributing to a thriving local community.

This Gold Patronage is more than a partnership. It’s a shared vision to create an environment where young people can flourish and succeed. We’re constructing a pathway for success for the youth of Wigan. I am genuinely excited about the positive impact this collaboration will create.

Building on Our Roots in Wigan

As our roots run deep in Wigan, this initiative is another chapter in our journey of supporting the community, building long-lasting relationships, and leaving a positive impact on the families and youth of Wigan.

We believe in the potential of local youth, and this investment is a testament to our commitment to being a class leader in the industry while fostering the growth and success of our community. Together, let’s witness the transformative effects of our collaboration with Wigan Youth Zone. Here’s to a brighter future for Wigan’s youth!

Happy 16th Birthday, Roxy!

Inspiring the Next Generation of Skilled Tradespeople

There is plenty of work available, but finding skilled people to deliver it is becoming increasingly difficult.  At DASCO, we believe part of the solution starts in schools.  Recently, Managing Director Scott Rothwell visited students at St Mary’s RC
