DASCO Supports Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day

The DASCO team swapped workwear for festive knitwear as part of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

From colourful classics to some questionable fashion choices, the office and site teams got involved to help raise money for a fantastic cause while bringing a bit of festive spirit to the working day.

Christmas Jumper Day is one of the UK’s biggest annual fundraising events, helping Save the Children support young people and families both in the UK and around the world.

As a family business, supporting charities that make a positive difference to children and families is something that resonates strongly with us.

While there may have been a bit of friendly competition over who had the best jumper, the day was ultimately about coming together as a team and supporting a cause that does important work.

We’re proud of everyone who took part and helped make the day a success.

It’s often the small things that bring people together, and Christmas Jumper Day was a great reminder of that.

Thank you to everyone who got involved and donated.

At DASCO, supporting our communities is part of who we are. From local charities and grassroots sports teams to fundraising initiatives and social value projects, we’re committed to making a positive difference wherever we can.

Happy 16th Birthday, Roxy!

Inspiring the Next Generation of Skilled Tradespeople

The construction industry has a major problem: a lack of skilled tradespeople.  Ask almost any contractor and they’ll tell you the same thing. There is plenty of work available, but finding skilled people to deliver it is becoming increasingly difficult.  At DASCO, we believe part of the solution starts in schools.  Recently, Managing Director Scott Rothwell visited students at St Mary’s RC
