We are thrilled to announce that DASCO Construction has been shortlisted for the prestigious SME of the Year award at the North West Regional Construction Awards (NWRCA) 2024!

This nomination marks an incredible milestone for our family-owned business, especially as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary this year.

The NWRCA, now in its 18th year, is a hallmark of excellence in the construction industry. It recognizes companies that demonstrate innovation, quality, and a positive impact on their communities.

Hosted by the University of Salford’s School of Science, Engineering and Environment and the Centre for Construction Innovation, these awards celebrate the very best in North West construction.

Our Managing Director, Scott Rothwell, summed up our excitement:

“To reach the final of such a prestigious award is a testament to our team and all the people that have helped us along the way. The timing couldn’t be better as we celebrate our ten-year anniversary—we couldn’t be happier!”

This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality projects, supporting our community, and continually innovating in a competitive industry.

It’s a nod to the dedication of our 102-strong team, our core values, and the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients and partners.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, July 5, 2024, at The Hilton Hotel, Deansgate, Manchester. We’ll celebrate the occasion alongside over 400 construction professionals from across the region. We’re excited to share this moment with our peers and continue raising the bar in the industry.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. Here’s to the next decade of success.

Happy 16th Birthday, Roxy!

Not every member of the DASCO team wears a hard hat.  Some prefer a blanket, a comfy bed and the occasional treat.  This week, we celebrated a very special birthday as our beloved office dog, Roxy, turned 16.  Roxy has been coming to work with us for almost nine years and has become a familiar face around the office. Inspiring the Next Generation of Skilled Tradespeople

The construction industry has a major problem: a lack of skilled tradespeople.  Ask almost any contractor and they’ll tell you the same thing. There is plenty of work available, but finding skilled people to deliver it is becoming increasingly difficult.  At DASCO, we believe part of the solution starts in schools.  Recently, Managing Director Scott Rothwell visited students at St Mary’s RC
