This is a major achievement.

A Year of Triumphs 🏆

At DASCO, we’ve always believed in staying true to our values and investing in our people. We actively give back to our hometown of Wigan with equal commitment.

This year, we have received recognition for that dedication on some of the biggest stages:

Winners of the Community Impact Award at the Northwest Business of the Year Awards: This honour celebrates our efforts to give back through charitable initiatives and corporate social responsibility.

Winners of the Growth Award at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Excellence Awards: Recognition of our monumental achievement of doubling our turnover to £12 million this year.

Triple Win at the Wigan Business Awards: Quadruple counting our Charlottes win!!

Family Business of the Year –

Retaining our crown as Wigan’s Family Business of the Year, the achievement speaks volumes. Six family members remain at the core of all operations, employing 24 additional family and friends. A large collective of relatives further strengthens the business through these associations.

The judges had no hesitation in celebrating DASCO Construction as Wigans Family Business of the Year 2024

Employer of the Year

Leading a workforce of over 120 employees DASCO excelled in all the elements of this award’s status.

What stood out to the judges was our commitment to our people, with all our employees coming from in and around Wigan.

And the pinnacle award: Wigans Business of the Year!

Scott goes by the motto “In a world full of pigeons be an eagle” Soaring to success the judges made the unanimous decision to crown DASCO as their Business of the Year.

Starting in 2014 with just 2 family members in the business, over the last decade we’ve grown to a turnover of over 12 million, employing 120 people from the town in which we were born and raised with our angel guiding us every step of the way!
