Three Northern Housing Awards Finals for DASCO

We’re delighted to share that DASCO has reached the final in three categories at the Northern Housing Awards 2026.

This year, we’re finalists for:

Best Repairs and Maintenance Service

Contractor of the Year

SME of the Year

The Northern Housing Awards recognise the organisations, projects and people working across housing in the North. From housing associations and local authorities to contractors and suppliers.

For DASCO to be recognised across three different categories means a great deal to us.

Recognition across the business

Each shortlist reflects a different part of what our team delivers.

Our place in the Best Repairs and Maintenance Service final recognises the work carried out every day. Our teams deliver responsive, reliable services for clients and residents.

It also sees DASCO return to the category after reaching the final in 2025.

Contractor of the Year looks at the wider business. Contractor of the Year recognises the standards we bring to our work, the relationships we build with clients and the contribution we make to the communities where we work.

And reaching the final for SME of the Year reflects DASCO’s continued growth, the team driving that growth and the way we continue to develop without losing the values that have shaped the business. To have all three recognised in the same year is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A team effort

Awards entries give us a chance to stop and look properly at what our team has achieved.

Every project relies on people planning the work, delivering it on site, supporting clients and residents, managing contracts and maintaining the standards we expect at DASCO.

So, while our name might be on the shortlist, this recognition belongs to the whole team and to the partners and clients who continue to put their trust in us.

The Northern Housing Awards ceremony takes place at the Kimpton Clocktower in Manchester on Thursday 21 May 2026, when we’ll find out who takes home the awards

For now, we’re very happy to be heading there as three-time finalists.

Good luck to everyone shortlisted. We’ll see you in May.

There is plenty of work available, but finding skilled people to deliver it is becoming increasingly difficult.  At DASCO, we believe part of the solution starts in schools.  Recently, Managing Director Scott Rothwell visited students at St Mary’s RC
