On Friday the 15th of November the glittering Wigan Business Awards was held at DW Stadium. Celebrating business excellence across the borough, the Awards highlight the achievements and hard work of a diverse range of Wigan businesses.
After receiving the ‘highly commended’ recognition in 2018 the team at Dasco Construction decided to enter again to bring the trophy home.
The Family Business Of the Year category recognises and celebrates the unique contribution family businesses have made to Wigan borough’s economy, history and culture.
‘We won!’ Business owner Scott Rothwell said,
‘We now have a shiny new award and we want it to take pride of place in our office, we’re not talking trophy cabinets, we’ve built a whole new reception area so everyone can admire it! ‘
